Troubleshoot

If you are having problems with your combat saber then please find the problem below and follow the instructions to help solve the issue. Most problems are simple fixes however if the solution below does not solve your problem then please contact us for further help.

RGB Base Lit

There is no sound

The saber may be in mute. To select the volume level turn the saber on but don't activate the blade. You should see the red power circle around the button. Hold the button for 1 LED flash (0.5 seconds). You can cycle through the sound levels by doing this each time.

The saber loses its colour, doesn't light up or has no clash or blaster sounds

It is likely that the battery is low. Please charge it up and try using it again. Charge for a minimum of 1 hour before testing although we recommend doing a full charge before using it again.

Charging the saber doesn't fix this and/or there are intermittent problems with sounds or the blade such as freezing

Most often this is due to the connection between the battery and the plates inside the hilt. Please remove the battery and reinsert after 30 seconds. If this doesn't fix it then please try and carefully adjust the connection plates by bending them in slightly to allow for a better connection with the battery.

The saber charges for a short amount of time and then shows as ready to use but dies again after using for a few seconds/minutes

The battery is not actually charging and is again due to the connection between the battery and plates. Carefully adjust the connection plates by bending them in slightly to allow for a better connection with the battery. Try charging again. The way to tell if you have fixed this is that the saber will start to charge and not show as completed for around 4 hours.

For all of the problems above about battery issues and charging then please take a look at the Youtube video below.

Eco / Proffie

There is no charging light like the RGB base lit

Not all of the sabers will show a charging light depending on which you have. Please insert the charging cable as far as it will go without forcing it - the plug may not look fully pushed in but often it is. Then leave to charge.

The saber sometimes changes colour randomly to multicolour or partial colours along the blade

This often happens if the is not a very good connection where the blade sits in the emitter. Please turn the power off, undo the screws in the emitter that hold the blade in place and push the blade in as far as it will go and put the screws firmly back in place.

The saber keeps beeping when pressing the button

You are in the volume options menu. If you press the button you will hear a beep, if you hold the button you will hear a different tone. This adjusts the volume up and down. To get out of the settings please hold the button and hilt clash at the same time.
