The design of the hilt is lovely and historic but the execution of the base lit led with the sword style blade needs some redesigning.
The light doesn't shine through the blade very well, most colours only reach half way down the blade length. I paid extra for the hilt to come with a blue leather wrap, I was disappointed to see that the extra £10 i paid didn't pay for it to be affixed to the hilt but paid for what might be the best part of £2 worth of trimmed pleather that I need to affix to the hilt myself.
Overall im disappointed in this product and im surprised that it was given a green light to be developed as a purchasable product.
